Goodbye to 2015

2015. Been a tough year, and I'm so happy to see the end of it and start afresh. A year full of ups and downs, learning lessons, and growing up. Here's to a brand new year, hoping that 2016 is a good'en. ❤️

Halloween'15

Halloween. The only time of year you can dress up as ANYTHING! So this year, as I'm studying International Tourism Management at uni and I've always had a little dream of being one, I decided to be a pilot... Not exactly scary but lots of fun!

Me and my best friend went as matching pilots ( we both study the same course!)

Hats and all...

Countryside Getaway

It's always a good idea to go and visit the English countryside at this time of year. And with the stress building from the ever growing list of essays and reports, I decided a getaway was very much needed...
Discovering the cute, chic alleyways of Surrey.

Shopping for Pumpkins at the Market

The crunching sound of leaves under your feet
is my absolute favourite thing about Autumn.
    Our cute little cottage❤️.

Found the sweetest little pub with a library and log fire! What a combination.

An Autumn Must Have: Camel Waterfall Coat

22.10.2015

As the days are getting shorter and the weather's getting colder, we're all beginning to realise that Autumn is well and truly upon us, and Winter is just around the corner... But it's not all doom and gloom! I adore this time of year; the beautiful trees filled with rusty orange and crimson coloured leaves, whilst the sunlight glistens through... you just can't help but be absorbed by it all (I know I am!) But apart from it being very pretty, it is also quite chilly, so the coat time is nigh.

My absolute favourite piece in my wardrobe this season is my camel waterfall coat from prettylittlething.com. At only £25 with 20% student discount making it only £20, this coat is an absolute STEAL! Pair it up with a cosy polo neck, ripped jeans and some Chelsea boots, Autumn won't know what's hit it!

20 seconds to perfect nude lips

As the autumn/winter season approaches, it's time to start putting those Barbie pink lipsticks back into the make up case, because in winter, apparently hot pink is just not acceptable (apparently). This nude lip look is my absolute favourite part of my make up routine, and it literally takes 20 seconds (if that!) It's such a good colour for this season and goes with anything you wear! Perfect!

So we start with the basic foundation lips. Make sure to take the foundation off of your lips before you apply any lipstick otherwise it will begin to peel off, which is not a look we want to go for...

Next we apply the lip liner. The one I am using is from maybelline and it is called colour drama lip liner in shade 630 nude perfection. This lip liner is absolutely amazing, it's so soft and really adds to the shape of your lips and at £4.99, it's a steal.

And then, we finish the look with your nude lipstick. Here I am using Clinique long last lipstick on creamy nude priced at £18.

However if you feel £18 is a tad expensive, I've recently found a super cheap lipstick which I discovered when panic buying after forgetting my lipstick for a interview. At £1.99 from the natural collection at boots, this lipstick does the job perfectly and looked exactly the same as my £18 lipstick!
In shade 'fig leaf' this lippy is a definite must buy to keep in your handbag at all times!
